10.

With this knowledge we intend on setting up a piece which will involve us as performers, mis-leading our audience. To do this we will set up a box in which a performance can happen inside and the audience will not be able to see inside the box. The viewers will watch what will be projected onto a screen outside the box in what they will think is a recording of us inside the box at that moment in time, but what they are watching will be pre-recorded. With a set of instructions that will appear to the audience throughout the performance they will be asked to remain seated and view the projection at all times unless instructed to do otherwise.
The instructions themselves will be clearly vague and in no way persuasive however we will act upon the instruction thus allowing the viewers to do the same, if they so wish.

The following instructions will be given:

PLEASE REMAIN SEATED
FILL IN YOUR SHEETS
LOOK UNDER YOUR SEAT
RESPOND
REACT

These instructions on their own have no persuasive bearing on the viewer however we hope to create a sense of unease amongst the audience by providing them with the same props that we have been provided with in order to allow them the oppurtunity to engage in a similar manner.
